Mod id bedrockplacing · Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, Forge, NeoForge · Requires Mycel.

Never aim at the edge again. Stand on a block, look straight ahead and right-click the air: the block is placed on the side of the floor you stand on, in the direction you face, just like Bedrock Edition placing. A white outline previews exactly which cell will be filled, and holding right-click bridges fast without vanilla's sluggish repeat delay.

The short version

Hold any block, stand on a block, and right-click the air: one block is placed next to the floor under your feet, in the direction you face.
Keep holding right-click and walk forward to bridge. The mod places a block every 2 ticks instead of vanilla's 4.
The assist only ever extends the layer you stand on, so jumping or falling never strands a block above or below your floor.
A white outline shows the target cell before you click. Hold sneak to right-click the air normally.
Placement runs on the server, so it needs to be installed there. Players without the mod still get the air-click placement; the outline and fast bridging come with the client install.
