Colored Nether Portals

Mod id colorednetherportals · Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, Forge, NeoForge · Requires the latest Mycel.

Any color for your Nether portals. Sneak and right-click a portal with an empty hand to open the color menu, or simply right-click it with a dye. Gradients fade smoothly across the whole portal, and the portal's particles and the swirl over your screen while you travel take its color too.

Three Nether portals: solid light blue, a red to gold to mint gradient, and a rainbow — Solid, gradient and rainbow portals.

The short version

Menu: sneak + right-click a portal with an empty hand.
Quick color: right-click a portal with a dye. Works for players without the mod too.
Styles: Solid, Gradient, Rainbow, Color cycle, Pulse, or back to Vanilla.
Who sees it: on a server with the mod, every player with the mod. On a server without it, only you. Vanilla players see the usual purple.

Install

Put Colored Nether Portals and Mycel in your mods folder, on your game and, to share colors, on the server too. See getting started.
